IRONSTAR was born from the need of the iron processing sector for a powerful and automatic machine, able to perform complex machining with x, y and z interpolation managed by numerical control. From the experience of MTMACC has been built this 4 axis cnc capable of working iron profiles up to 6 mm thick.
The machine is designed for the industrial processing of steel profiles of significant size and weight. The base consists of an electro-welded structure, milled with high-precision machine tools after shot peening and painting treatments. The thickness of the materials used for the base exceeds 14 millimeters to ensure surface flatness and prevent distortion problems during transport and/or handling of the machinery. The base is raised from the ground by 8 adjustable steel feet to adapt to any flooring, equipped with anti-vibration rubber to prevent the transmission of vibrations to the ground. On the base is positioned a mobile carriage made of electro-welded steel tubulars and connected to each other by multiple supports, in order to ensure maximum rigidity and prevent bending of the column even in case of heavy-duty processing on steel or high-strength materials.
